Sustainability Week of the GINA Project at GAPAS

Gapas (France) community organized a special week dedicated to sustainability. Every day, they conducted workshops to raise awareness among others in their facilities about eco-friendly practices.

During their Zero Waste workshops, participants made reusable sponges from old socks, prepared bread pudding from leftover cafeteria bread, sewed shopping bags from used T-shirts, and created bird feeders from pinecones and seeds. They also collected litter in public spaces and repurposed food scraps to feed chickens.

These initiatives demonstrate how small actions can contribute to environmental preservation and promote a more sustainable lifestyle.
